Dallas is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a true man of God. Being Kansas born and raised he comes from a long family line of pastors within the Assemblies of God denomination. His educational background includes Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Evangel University. Dallas is married to his wife Lisa and they have three adult children, Paige, Morgan, and Drew. 

Bill is a strong and dependable man of God. AJ First welcomed him on the team in 2021. Bill brings his experience in the ministry and in business to our team. We are so excited that he has joined the team!

Brenda is our Care Pastor and our LOVES Women's Ministry Director. Brenda has many years of experience in the ministry and is an Assemblies of God Licensed minister. She has been a part of AJ First since 2013 and Brenda uses her Ministry gifts in many areas including serving on prayer team, and teaching.

Lisa has been a teacher for more than 20 years in the public and private school arenas, as well as a Christian educator within the church, Lisa has a broad range of experience to offer. Her heart and passion first and foremost is her personal relationship with the Lord. Teaching her students how to put the Lord first and wholeheartedly serve Him is of utmost priority.

Lisa and her husband of 36 years, are blessed with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She loves to tell of the Lord’s faithfulness throughout her life, in order to inspire and encourage others to press on and fight the good fight!! Her goal is that each student is equipped to become a successful life-long learner and ambassador for Christ!!!

Michelle and her husband have 4 wonderful, children and have been calling AJ First their home since 2018. Starting at a very young age, Michelle grew-up sharing her love of music and Worship of the Lord in Assembly Of God churches. She has studied Worship in Music arts with many talented individuals and at Trinity School for Ministry. She has served as Worship Leader previously at other churches, and as a guest for conferences and retreats; but Michelle feels most blessed serving as Worship Leader here at AJ First.

Jon & Nickie Carter have a passion for families & marriages, and have made a promise to God to stand in the gap with intercession and prayer for America's teens. They believe they were called to Arizona and to this church for such a time as this.

Nickie is an ordained youth minister and is on the praise & worship team. Jon is a strong man of God, an active protector for his family and his church, and strives to set an example for young men. The Carters have 4 children ranging from preteen to young adults. They lead a youth group that is moving and growing. Let's spark a revival in in AJ's youth!

Tulio David Gonzalez was born in Guatemala, and moved to the United States in 2011. He and his wife, Belen are parents to twins, James and Mercy. He received the call from God when he was nineteen years old, Tulio went to de Bible Institute Assemblies of God in Guatemala City, and also earned a diploma of missions, from the mission School Assemblies of God in Guatemala City. After we planted Iglesia Manantial in San Tan Valley in 2017, he and his family became a part of AJ first pastoring as Spanish ministry. They are so glad to work for the Kingdom of God to reach the Spanish community in Apache Junction.

Leann has been serving at AJ First since 2016. Previously, she served with the Arizona Ministry Network as an credentialing assistant. She and her husband, Kevin, have two grown children, Aaron and Rachel. Leann enjoys camping, hiking, and being outdoors.

Rachel has partnered with several Assemblies of God churches in their communications department. She has worked at Western Bible College, where she received her BA in Biblical Studies. Rachel and her husband, Travis, have two children, Zoe and Abel, one pitbull lab named Rocko, and a tuxedo cat named Ross. She enjoys movies, coffee, and anything chocolate!

Julia graduated cum laude from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership, and She graduated from Capella University cum laude with a master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership. Julia and her husband, Brian, moved from Indiana to Arizona to be close to family. Julia is passionate about nonprofits, fundraising, and sign language!

Tammy joined the team in April 2023. Tammy has an extensive background in Administration, Marketing and IT. Tammy grew up in Ontario Canada and lived in Australia for 13 years before moving to Arizona. Tammy loves traveling and enjoys hiking and camping.
